Some people give Portsea SLSC more than a season or two, they give it years, decades, sometimes a lifetime.
This page honours them.

HOW NOMINATIONS WORK
The Wall of Fame recognises members and nominal members who’ve given long or exceptional service to the club. Quality of contribution matters as much as length of service.
LIFE MEMBERSHIP
To be nominated for Life Membership, a member must:
- Be nominated at a Club Committee meeting for distinguished service to the club and to lifesaving
- Hold a Bronze Medallion
- Have been an Active Member for at least 10 years
- Be elected by a General Meeting of the club
The committee also looks for sustained, meaningful contribution, good standing, and the support of at least two current Life Members.
Nominations must be lodged with the Club Secretary by 31 July each year, ahead of the AGM.
WALL OF FAME
The Wall of Fame exists to permanently recognise members who’ve given long or exceptional service. It’s intended as an honour from the club, not a popularity contest, both the size and the length of someone’s contribution count.
