Patrolling is at the heart of what we do. Every weekend throughout the season, our members take to Portsea Back Beach to keep swimmers safe.
Here’s everything you need to know about your patrol obligations and how it all works.

IMPORTANT:
- Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled patrol to assist with set-up and changeover.
- Patrol changeover occurs at 1:30pm.
- Allow an extra 30 minutes after your patrol’s finish time for pack-up.

PATROL UNIFORM
Our uniform allows the public to identify us as lifesavers and must be worn correctly at all times. If you require a new or replacement uniform, please contact lifesaving@portseasurf.com.au.
